유학 또는 연수를 떠날 때부터 귀국 할 때까지 유학 생활 중에 발생하는
우연한 사고나 질병에 대한 경제적인 손실을 보상하여 드립니다.
일부 국가나 현지학교에서 학교 등록시 보험가입은 의무조항이며 일정한 보상한도를 제시하고 있어 보상요건에
적합 하도록 보험 가입을 하여야 하므로 보험종류를 세분화 하였습니다.
외국의 병원비가 매우 비싸기 때문에 의료보험 혜택을 받지 않고는 엄청난 병원비를 부담할 수가 없고,
학교에서 가입을 권하고 있는 의료보험은 그 보상 범위가 제한적이기 때문에 모든 상황을 모두 보상할 수
있는 유학생 보험이 필요합니다.

- 가입대상은 만 15세 이상 30세 미만의 미혼 유학생 및 어학연수생 본인에 국한됩니다.
기혼유학생 및 동반 가족은 교환교수 보험에 가입하여야 하며, 30세 이상 미혼 유학생은 본사의
심의 후에 유학생 보험에 가입 하실 수 있습니다.
- 치과 치료는 보험이 되지 않으므로 유학전 미리 치료해 두시기 바랍니다.
- 각종 질병과 사고 시 신속한 지원을 위해서 International SOS 서비스를 운영합니다.
- 일부국가 또는 미국내 일부 학교는 학교내 보험만을 인정하거나 아래와 같은 (미국으로 가는
F Visa 소지자를 위한 보험조건 참조) 보상한도를 요구하므로 I-20 Form를 참조하시고
보험회사 담당자와 상담 후 보험상품을 결정하는 것이 좋습니다.
F 비자란 F-1 과 F-2로 나뉘는데 F-1은 학생 F-2는 학생의 가족 비자를 말합니다.
- 미국으로 출국하시는 F-VISA소지자는 USIA 및 학교에서 규정한 아래와 같은
I-20 FORM의 요구조건을 충족하는 보험에 가입하셔야 합니다.
① 상해 및 질병치료비 (MEDICAL EXPENSES) US$50,000
이상
② 긴급의료후송비 (MEDICAL EVACUATION) US$10,000
③ 유해본국송환비 (REPATRIATION) US$7,500
④ 본인부담금 (면책금액) (DEDUCTIBLE) US$500 이하
⑤ 신용평가 회사의 보험회사 신용 평가 등급 A- 이상인 보험회사

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR F-1 EXCHANGE VISTORS |
Effective September, 1994, the United States Information
Agency (USIA) will require each exchange visitor holding a
F-1 visa to maintain medical insurance coverage for the full
duration of his F-1 program.
In addition, F-2 dependents will also have to meet this requirement
while they are in the United States.
Under regulations, schools and other sponsors must advise
in writing all F-1 visa holders of the isuranceRequirement
before they arrive.
The minimum requirements for coverage set forth under theses
USIA
Regulations are listed below:
1) Medical benefits of at least $50,000 per accident or illness
(Sickness)
2) A deductible not to exceed $500 per accident or illness.
3) Repatriation of remains in the amount of $7,500 .
Should an exchange visitor die while in the United States,
this benefit would provide for the preparation and transportation
of the body to his other home country.
4) Medical evacuation in the amount of $10,000 in the event
an exchange visitor must be returned to his or home country
due to a serious medical condition.
BE underwritten by an insurance corporation having one of
the folling ratings: A.M best rating of "A-" or above
ISI ltd rating of "a-" or above standard & poor's rating
of "Triple A(AAA)" or above weiss research inc. rating of
"B+" or above. |
